UNHCR Human Cinema Festival 2013

UNHCR Charity Movie @AEON Cinema

My friend introduced me "UNHCR Human Cinema Festival 2013" and asked me to come it. So I went to see a movie with my family on last weekend. It was a charity movie so no fee entrance but we donated some for their activity support.

UNHCR gave us an opportunity to think about people who were uprooted by conflict and disaster in the world, there are many people living desperately severe shelter. Knowing their situation is the first step and think what can we do for them is next step.

It was a first time to know and went to see a movie.  I think many people don't know what is UNHCR or what they are doing.  I think many people don't know how refugees are living at the shelter, and how tough, and even why they have to stay there?  Movie is the best way to understand their situation.

I thought what can I do for them and got an answer as my first step.  To let my friends and people know the event. To give them an opportunity to know and think, same as just I got it.  I couldn't introduce before the event this year, so I'll do it in 2014.

Kobe Oktober Fest in Sannomiya 2013

It was June, 2013 about 2 months ago....Me and my friend went to Osaka to see the Cirque du Soleil and when we went back to my hotel, we lost near the park in Sannomiya, Kobe. But we saw this event accidentaly so we came back next day.  So many booths in this place so it was very hard to decide.  We picked out very pretty beer and also sausages. This sausage got a prize of Gold medal of Germany International contest. Yes! This is the winning sausage!! Taste was so good!!

What is typical Japanese noodle? I think it's Ramen, Udon and Soba. We Japanese loves noodles. And when I lost my appetite, because of too hot, I choose noodles most of the time. Noodles is so easy to eat for lunch.

Foods and Sweets in Kobe and Osaka

In my trip to Kansai(Osaka and Kobe), one of most exciting thing is eating delicious local food. Actually, Osaka and Kobe has so many delicous soul food. I wanted have Kobe beef in Kobe but no chance in this time. Even though I had many "Oishi" food at there. Okonomiyaki and Akashiyaki are one of Kansai area's soul food. And there are many coffee shop in Kobe so sweets and bread were also very good.  The last pic is my hotel's breakfast. It was buffet style and taste pretty good.

When I went to Aquarium I saw this baby's dad brought him up in front of a penguin. The penguin was curious and watching the baby.  People around the baby, just like me, were smiling and also took photos of this amazing moment.

One of my good friend, she with her family went to see their friend who I knew in Hawaii for 5days. 

And those are souvenir from there. Tropical fruit tea, Macadamian chocolate, Macadamian  Honey and Pinapple cookies(no photo cause inside somebody's stomach already).  Hahaha. Oh, except hula doll, it's mine...

They went to Hawaii with their baby who is 14 months years old for the first time. I think they really had a wonderful time there.

Macadamian Nut Honey

She showed me their beautiful photos in Waikiki, Oahu island. Their baby looks enjoy beach and beautiful sea a lot.  

This is my first time to see this Macadamian Nut Honey. She knows my mother loves honey so I guess this is to my mother. It's rare to me!!

This taste is the nut honey!! You can feel a lot of nut like macadamia or cashew nut. It's very fun!!

I went to Hawaii for 2 weeks when I was 19 years old. I learned some Polynesian culture and English at University. Also I hope I'll go back to there in someday with my husband.

It's for sure, Hawaii is so beautiful island.

Jewelry maintenance

18K Gold and Platinum jewelry with color gems

I want to buy some jewelry before summer but I feel I should check and organize mine first before I buy. So I opened my jewelry box and checked them out last night. I have many of rings, necklaces and pierces of pair which I bought or got as a gift but most of all are old fashion design.  I'm get old so my taste has been changed. And I don't need to buy similar thing. When I checked all, I also figured out I should clean the gems. So I did it and made selection. This photo shows not all but I decide them to stay with me and going to sell remain in someday. I might get new ring, chain or pendant top by old jewelry if I sell them.
By the way, it's very popular 18K gold and platinum jewely in Japan but it's only Japan I guess. It hardly see under 10K jewelry at shop here in Japan but it's popular 14K or 10K in EU and western countries. Also platinum jewelry doesn't popular in other countries like Japan. In other hand, it's very popular 24K gold in China, India and others. It's very interesting!!

New curtains

To be honest, I was so busy in 2012 and especially end of 2012. I usually do general housecleaning with my husband but we couldn't do it last year. So I have been doing the house cleaning little by little in March and April. After the cleaning, I became to feel that I want to change all curtains of my house so I went to see the curtains at an interior store called Nitori.  Then I found this simple one. I liked the color and design.  I used to have a blackout curtains but I changed to a lace curtain because I like to feel more sun lights.  I bought 3 pairs for 3 windows.  I really satisfied to make a good shopping and get them in a cheap price. Well, my interior decoration will be complete when I get a new nice sofa by IKEA.

Japanese Cosme

My Winter and Spring Cosme

During a winter, I was using these cosme for my hair and lips and taking some collagen drinks. I hate static electricity especially for my hair, usually use "Baby Veil" hair spray.  It's really good for static electricity and make your hair so smooth and also fragrance good. It's my favorite.
A brown bottle is a drink type of collagen and also powder type is in front of the bottle. These compensate forle.the lost collagen and give your skin tension and elastic.
I often use these 4 kind of lip balms in this winter. especially square shape because it's hardly roll on the table.  So convenient.  I want to give an award to someone who has been invented this.  Water type lip balm is very popular in my country and feel lighter when you put it on but give enough moisture and shine well... Japan is one of biggest cosme country. I'm enjoying to try the new products.

Beautiful Stamps and reflection

When I took this photo I didn't recognaize that I can see a French style buildings as a reflection.  You might can't see it well but look at above.  Most of stamps are asian dragon so I felt very interesting! mismatch of western and asian.  Mix culture same as the city.  This photo was taken at Hanoi, Vietnam in 2012 winter.  Very famous street as a stamp street.  I really like this photo.

Valentine's Chocolate

I provided Valentine's chocolate for my husband on last Monday. It was national holiday on Monday and he was out. I wanted relax but I changed my mind to do it because it was good oportunity to do it in secret. So I did.  Actually I provided 3 of them. Not because I have 2 more  lovers but I want to give it one of my girlfriend and also to my sister who loves chocolate.  I love to see smiles of them!!

I found it at Narita airport when I wait for my flight to Ha noi.  I often use this company so I was glad when I found it.  Also I just remembered they gave me a their plane of toy before but this is not a toy.  They were working as same as usual.

Wao! I couldn't do anything for Christmas in this year.  I always cook chicken and vegetables for Christmas and celebrate with my husband.  However I was sick since19th and made me weak.  In fact, I really needed to do something than Chirstmas cooking.  So we will have a Christmas dinner in New Year maybe...
Look at this fine illumination!!  You know what?  The power came from only Nissan LEAF which is electric car.  Amazing!!

My friend and I stopped by COACH at Ginza.  I'm not so good at brand shop but except this brand.  We did just a window shopping but enjoyed a lot.  Many nice designs for autum and winter.  Good to have a look.

I met her on the platform of Omotesando station to Ginza on last Sunday.  She was with her mother and their friend.  She was just standing in front of me to wait next train as me. I was talking with my friend and looked her Kimono obi which is like a belt for Kimono.  Her obi was quite unique to us because it was honey bee embroidery.  My friend and I was on the way to go to Ginza to see honey bees and its honey tasting. So I was little exciting and talked with my friend about her obi design. Then her mother noticed us and talked to me "It was my daughter's work." We were very suprised and also she said "We are going to her solo exhibition at Ginza." We were suprised again so I let her know that we were also going to Ginza for honey bee. What a coincident!! Then they invited us. Later we noticed that she lives in Sagamihara city same as us! We were so surprised!! When we had free time, my friend and I visited her solo exhibition. Her works were so great and beautiful.

I forgot this but one of my friend remainds me that I have a plane.  I'm using FedEx sometimes and when they had a campaign they has been sent me this ago.  I finally opened a box.  Wao, what a details and it's quite heavy!!  I'm going to decorate the airplane on a shelf at my office.

Willcom DIGNO by Kyocera

I'm using 2 cellphones.  One is my private phone (just an old type) and another one is for my business.  I'm using WILLCOM as my business phone and since last August, I've been using a smartphone, we call it "Sumaho" in Japanese.  I got a DIGNO DUAL by KYOCERA. This is a first Android Smartphone in Japan to work on both PHS and 3G networks.  It's nice one but because of my short fingers I can't input text by one hand.  However I like the color.  It's very convenient.  I talk to my cellphone to search the word and even text to email.  Check the news, get orders, search, translation, calculation, listen to the radio, watch news on TV, take a photo of our goods, do payment, internet, update of my company website, buy goods, mail to customer or chat with people, of course you can use as a phone and much more you can do by this small thing....so quick.  This is truely smartphone!!
